Who would make a good Doctor after the brilliant Matt Smith?

In my opinion Matt Smith has brought 'The Doctor' back into Doctor Who. He definately is the best Doctor of new-who! The next actor/actress has pretty big shoes to fill.

Rumor has it, Matt will be staying until at least 2014. But he will definitely be part of the 50th Anniversary in November 2013. I hope he stays for a very long time.

Actors have appeared in Doctor Who and subsequently gone on to have a bigger role in the series. Colin Baker appeared in Davison's penultimate story "Planet of Fire" and was then cast as the Sixth Doctor! Freema Ageyman played Adeola in "Army of Ghosts" and went on to play her cousin Martha 3 episodes later! Bernard Cribbins was only supposed to play a newspaper seller in "Voyage of the Dammed" but was then brought back as Wilf (the same character) after the death of a supporting cast member.

Lol, Phil glenister would probably be better as the master, but I loved David Morresey as the fake doctor, he was really good. Richard E Grant would have been excellent too if they didnt put him in as a villain.

Benedict Cumberbatch was going to be the "11" doctor but he turned it down to play the part of sherlock. ( the 11 doctor is actualy the 12 doctor becuse of reasons pertaining to the season finaly.)
