Heres a better product: fair trade shea butter products produced by woman cooperatives. Slap some on, and you're good to go. None of this marketing BS.

Yes, "Faith" is one of the unfortunate products of consciousness, particularly virulent in unexamined consciousness. Two Canadians in the 1950s/60s took a long hard look at the effects of consciousness and noted this flaw. They were Northrop Frye ("The Great Code") and Marshall McLuhan ("Laws of Media"). Later on Rene Girard unknowingly confirmed their findings ("The Scapegoat"). These books are still in print.

Lol, here pretty lady, rub this radio active cream on your face! For science? No No, for beauty!

I don't think you really understand what science is. i admit that unscrupulous individuals or organizations could use science to suppress, manipulate and exploit but that's nothing to do with science . people who are ignorant of science also need to take a personal responsibility for the effect they have on society and the environment. with a greater knowledge of science people can make better decisions based on fact.

Great marketing, were we dumber then or now

Yes, I agree we can't know everything that happened in the past. Any evidence is long gone. It would be fantastic to learn we are not the first civilization to inhabit the earth, but that requires evidence. Until then, we can only speculate, and not state anything as a fact.
Julie Paterson
How can one prove or disprove the unprovable? they cant. we can make assumptions about what happened in our past, but without a time machine its still just an educated guess. scientists cant even agree if neanderthal interbred with early humans of they just shared a common ancestor. there is just as much evidence that advanced civilization lived on earth before us. Yonaguni monument, the Bosnian pyramids, Baalbek lebanon, or the amazing mathmatical perfection imbedded in the Gisa Pyrimids.
Glenn Beck
I disagree. Beliefs are just that - beliefs. They usually have no basis in fact/ testable evidence, which of course is the complete opposite of science. Why does there need to be a 'deeper meaning' to ourselves? This is wishful thinking. Surely the complexity of the known, physical world we are in i.e.reality, is enough? It's complicated enough without wanting to add more complexity to the mix.
Julie Paterson
Science is great. but the academic establishment likes to impose restrictions and imaginary constraints that serve only to compartmentalize knowledge and limit the scope of our understanding of this reality. the search for truth demands that one investigates all aspects of beliefs. we shouldent let ourselves become locked into a constrained and restrictive paradime. and instead look beyond imposed limitations to understand the deeper meaning of ourselves and our reality.
Glenn Beck
Not even scientists know that, but you can bet they are working on it. Scientists never claim to know everything, all they do is make conclusions based on the available evidence. If the evidence changes or increases, so do the conclusions. What is arrogant about that? Errors in the past were due to lack of knowledge, not arrogance.
Julie Paterson
Every generation likes to think they are the ultimate height of achievement, going all the way back to when the scientific establishment thought the earth was flat and Europe was the only continent. its pure arrogance. when the reality is we know almost nothing about the universe. so tell me oh wise one, what is dark matter?, what is dark energy? yeah, didn't think so.

What rot! Science goes hand in hand with the dissemination of truth. Just because back in 1950 they put radioactive dust on somebody's face, does not mean it was malicious, they just did not know any better, that's all. Now we do know better, thanks to science.
Julie Paterson
