John hurt isnt the 9th the 9th was that other one with bald not the 8th he was charles dawin
Jimmy Biggles
John Hurt is an aged 8th Doctor, which makes the most sense because the 8th was the doctor who fought in the time war so it'd make sense for an aged 8th to be ... different, and it also makes sense because there is very little documented on the 8th. Basically an aged 8th would be the best way to play John Hurt.
GoingInSaiyan
Its john hurt because in name o the doctor it said john hurt as the doctor coming November 23rd such a long time from now and I didn't see the 11th doctor regenerate

In the Trial of a Timelord during the 6th Doctor's reign that the Valeyard was the Doctor's 13th generation. And this is starting to become a bit hard for Doctor WHO to continue on much longer since it was revealed during one of the regenerations of the Master that a Timelord has a maximum of only 13 regenerations. The Master had gone through his 13th regenerations and when he did that the body he took over to cheat death was not able to contain all the power that a Timelord holds.
Jason Wolven
Hinted schminted. The Valyard was real and solid facing the sixth Doctor in the Gallifreyan court of law (before it all went south in the Time War.) And it was revealed that the Valyard is the Doctor's thirteenth, all corrupt and greedy for life and terrified of death, so he plots to steal life time from his former incarnations before they regenerate. How's that for a worthy foe?

6th to 7th he doesn't always get younger.

The Doctor will never be played by someone that old again, not when they can get women to watch the show by using a younger, better-looking actor.

How about Bowie, maybe he could be the Doctor for a bit then regenerate into the next doctor. I know they like him, they call the first Mars space station Bowie One? If David Bowie feels up to it.
susan skoscielski
I prefer the doctors looking younger, no offence to anyone who likes this..,
thedjjoker123
I think it would be cool if they used him in a remake of the first season
bunnygirle26
I think an older Docter is good. BUT! an Old Docter. Because I Matt Smith was 26 when he started, we can't get much yonger or It will become a shit sitocom Docter Who A Teenage Timelord! (that actually over 1,000) That makes me want to barf. But with all the running he dose we can't have someone who actually looks over 1,000.(No offense to this guy he is an awsome actor. I think 30's or early 40's is a good age.
