I know I'll regret this! I never comment, but this time I will. The only thing racist about this doc is what you want to see. I really wish those who put documenaries out would disable comments or better yet, I wish y-tube would hide them and leave it up to the viewer to see them or not. It seems to me that those who contributed to the invention of fire, the agricultural revolution, as well as the first written languages were not pale-skinned people. African societies and their descendants have always been extremely abundant in various art forms, and have even inspired people from other ethnic backgrounds, especially when it comes to music and dancing. But it just may be that all the art form that you don't like are not art, or "degenerate" art.

The Italians are the real Latinos and are Caucasian, the only reason Southern Europeans are darker than Northern Europeans is due to their ancestors being exposed to more sun. Latin Americans are mixed with Caucasian peoples (Spanish, Portugese, Italian, and German) and Native Americans. Many Neanderthals had the skin tone of modern Europeans (from olive to pale) and were living more than 30,000 to 200,000 years ago.

And? People are not all the same. Biologically, we are different. And I know you're going to come out with some shit that "Race is a social construct". Whats wrong with someone wanting their ancestors to look like their fucking ancestors in a depiction, not another people. How would the Yoruba people like it if they were depicted by White men in a documentary?

Well that was common understanding 10 years ago. But most recent studys suggest the pale skin color we see today only have been around for about 10 000 years. But yes caucasian facial features and "lighter" skin is even older. Only, most of what is common facial features among caucasians are also common among latinos/Italians, arabs, some african countrys. Pale skin is common for asians too. So whats typical for a caucasian is also typical among the rest of us. Unless you fall for steriotypes:P
